HISTORY AND OBJECTIVE

Saint Joseph’s Center for the Youth was organized on June of the year 1991 to assist the Archdiocese of Manila Campus Ministry. It seeks to deepen the spiritual life and to nurture friendship among the students of colleges and universities at Manila’s University Belt. Through the PRAYER PARTNER LOVE SYNERGY, it seeks to provide the therapeutic environment of love in the University Belt which is vital for everyone’s growth in Jesus. When YOU enlist yourself to Saint Joseph’s Prayer Partner Synergy, you become a dynamic link of friendship that embraces the University Belt with the warmth of God’s love. This transforming energy can be illustrated by an incident in one town in U.S.A. A lake endangered by pollution was saved dramatically by summoning all the concerned people to link their hands as they surround the dying lake. The Civic and government agencies were forced to take notice and make a unified positive action.

Similarly Saint Joseph’s Prayer Partner Synergy musters a mighty love synergy which heals broken hearts and transforms lives. Utilizing the prayer card supplied to every member, we consecrate ourselves daily to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and entrust ourselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Meek Heart of Saint Joseph. We become active instruments of God’s mercy, love, peace and healing. 

HOW YOU CAN JOIN SAINT JOSEPH’S PRAYER PARTNER LOVE SYNERGY

We are seeking the assistance of volunteer coordinators from each school who facilitate the submission of applicants, distribution of prayer cards and to keep in touch with the members.

1. Any High School/College student or school personnel of goodwill is qualified to join.
2. The Prayer Pamphlet and the name of your prayer partner will be sent to you through your school coordinator. You are encouraged not only to pray daily for your partner but also to communicate with him/her your insights, values, faith experience through Cell Phones, or Social Media like Facebook or Twitter etc. Seek to nurture each others friendship in the Lord.
3. The center plans for the school year reunion of all members. Be in touch with your prayer partner school coordinators. The members are expected to participate in this joyful and meaningful celebration of newly found friendship.
